Privacy notice
Last updated 21 October 2026
This notice explains how Syndicate Detailing ("we") uses the personal information you give us through this website. You can contact us about it on 07914 768911.
What we collect
- When you book: your name, email, phone number, the address where we'll work, your vehicle's make and model, notes about its condition or access, the service and time you chose, and whether you agreed to the booking terms.
- When you send an enquiry: your name, how you'd like us to reply, your phone or email, and anything you tell us about your car, postcode or preferred dates. If you add photos of your car, we resize them and remove their hidden details (such as where they were taken) before they reach us.
- Payments: deposits are taken by Stripe on its secure checkout page. We never see or store your card details; we receive confirmation that the payment succeeded.
Why we use it
To arrange and carry out the work you've asked for, take and record your deposit, contact you about your booking or enquiry, and keep the records a business needs. We rely on the contract with you for bookings, and on our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries you send us. We'll only send marketing if you've opted in, and you can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with
- Lovable, which hosts this website and its database (Lovable Cloud).
- Stripe, which processes deposit payments.
- Lovable's email service, to send booking and enquiry messages.
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and payment records for as long as we need them to provide the service and meet our legal and accounting obligations, and enquiries for as long as we need to deal with them. After that, we delete them. Photos sent with an enquiry are deleted automatically after 90 days.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Contact us to do any of these. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
